On this journey of life somewhere in the mist of all the chaos I realized I have greater purposes in life. As I walk with and for God I have discovered this is not easy. The Disciples were in the boat with Jesus, going to the other side, but the storm still came (Mark 4).

I have completed several calls from God and I know each is a springboard for the next step. However, each step has its own journey and processes that must be completed, and the beneficiaries have hopefully been blessed and made stronger in the knowledge of Christ. Hopefully what I have shared; the pain, the sorrow, the joy, the healing and revelation of wisdom helps us all to see we are not alone but with relationship with Christ we can do this.

So, while I wait on God to reveal to me the next step I am spending time as I sort through, shuffle and organize books and papers to reflect on how far God has brought me and protected myself and those I love. In the mean time I must say, "I'm going on with Jesus all the way.

Sometimes we think something big (money, land or position) has to happen to really be thankful but as we mature in age and more so spirituality we realize that the next breath one takes is worth being thankful. I am so thankful for the many small and simple things in my life. My grandson speaking positive words in my life. My granddaughter congratulating me on my preaching and even my daughter telling me how proud of me she is. I'm grateful for my son striving to be a good provider for his family. All of which who know I have many flaws but like God look beyond my flaws and find a few perfections. And too, I am well aware of their flaws and frailties but just on today I'd want to just thank a perfect God for patiently allowing us to grow.
